Review of Treasure At Tampines(TAT)

by Jeremy | May 14, 2020

Jointly developed by Sim Lian Land Pte. Ltd. and Sim Lian Development Pte. Ltd., Treasure at Tampines sits on a luxurious land area of approx. 60,283 sqm (approx. 648,880 sqft). The development features twenty-nine residential blocks of 12 storeys each. With 33 efficient and spacious layouts ranging from one- to five-bedroom units (from 463 sq ft to 1,722sq ft), home buyers are spoilt for choice when it comes to picking a configuration that best suits their needs. All units come with quality fittings from Electrolux and Hansgrohe.

Well situated at Tampines Street 11, it is a short walk to amenities in the neighborhood, has great connectivity with plenty of bus services plying in and around the area as well as a short drive gets you on the major expressways like PIE and ECP. It is also in between two EW line MRT stations, Tampines and Simei. The walk to Simei MRT station would be the shortest, taking the nearest block to start off, it will take you roughly about 10 mins.

My Review

  • Competitive PSF pricing for a new launch condo
  • Low Maintenance Fees
  • Sheer Land Size
  • Reputable Developer
  • Plenty of schools nearby(ideal for family starters)
  • Amenities in nearby HDB neighborhood

  • Not near any MRT station. I be put off with anything more than a 5min walk to a MRT station. However that is just my personal preference.

My 2 cents

Having spent my early years in Tampines, it certainly has transformed into an established township we all know today. Malls sprung up, established companies and banks settling into offices, plenty of schools, new stadium and hub centre. It brings great convenience to residents of Tampines and potential home buyers considering this area. Treasure at Tampines is worth considering if you are looking to stay. The layouts are extremely efficient. facilities are comprehensive and most families would love them. However I would consider carefully if buying for investment, especially on the smaller units. One for it is not near any MRT station, tenants may have better choices with those near MRT. Two, competition for rental would be intense as the sheer number of units of this development.
